Zenyinn comes from the Chinese 禅银. 禅 is stillness — the sitting kind, the kind you have to slow down to reach. 银 is the silver of 银河, the Milky Way: the river of stars you can only see once the lights are off.

Put together it describes a posture more than a product: lying back on a roof somewhere, in no hurry, looking up. Everything we make is trying to get you to that feeling.

We design and build software, and we build it slowly. The work tends to sit somewhere between a tool and an instrument — things with atmosphere, where the point is the time you spend inside rather than the task you complete.

There is no roadmap to publish and no funding to justify. Things ship when they are good.
